The proposal for an eco farm cafe - “Fins” lies on the narrow and steep site of 45 Vulture St West End. The design process involved line, surface and volumetric abstraction of the site conditions (see the booklet on my google drive for the full process) which led to the core design themes of rhythm, funneling, and verticality. The design reaches out of the steep slope, inviting visitors inside into a light-filled, vertical green space where the food produce is unified with the design. The design features a vertical parametric green wall and retractable sails for inside/outside dining.
